What made you choose Matt Mathews Photography for your boudoir experience

Recommended by a longtime friend, I reviewed Matts website and was overwhelmed at how beautifully classy all the photos are. I wanted to feel as free as the women in his pictures looked. 

Taking a leap extremely out of my comfort zone already, when Matt mentioned taking pictures on the fire escape.. I decided why not go for it!! It set the stage for the rest of the photo shoot! Breathtaking!! 

Fearful of how I would feel, would I be too much of a dork, spastic, not do each pose right.. I knew within the first couple shots Matt had everything under control, I didn’t have to overthink about what to do.

After a lifetime of being self-conscious and not good enough, getting through a rape 9 1/2 years ago.. to recently getting divorced, I was ready to let it all go, to step forward with the rest of my life. The relief and self worth I felt when I left Matts studio was more than I could’ve hoped for… opening up to feel beautiful and proud of myself. 

Would you recommend a boudoir session to your friends?

I already have! Especially anyone that has been through a life altering experience.
