Secret Session - "damn this boy can shoot”

​What made you choose Matt Mathews Photography for your boudoir experience?

“I came across Matt because I have followed Casey on Instagram for a while. I started to see some of her posts about his work and I thought “damn this boy can shoot.” I started to stalk, yes stalk, all of his work, even contacted him one time before my shoot but chickened out. When I saved up enough money, I wasn’t going to let myself spend it on anything but Boudoir & Matt was the obvious pick.”

“I was completely able to be myself. Not once did I ever think “what the hell am I doing here?” During my makeup & hair process, Matt & Casey chatted with me like we had been friends for years. It was comforting & I mean who else doesn’t think “okay let me get naked in front of y’all now?!”

“I was a wreck. One of my best friends knew I was doing it. She was my cheerleader. I text her for a week trying to cop out. The day of my shoot, I was up at 4:00 AM twiddling my thumbs going through Instagram pictures wondering how in the hell was I ever going to look like these girls. SO WORTH IT.”
